ANNOUNCE 00 PURSES FOR MEETING AT DEL MONTE SAN BRUNO, Calif!, April 3. Henry Potter Russell, president of the Del Monte Racing Association, yesterday announced that purse for the five-day meeting which will follow Bay Meadows, will be 00. The sport at Del Monte opens Memorial Day, and runs for five days. Racing will be held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The meeting will be run on a non-profit basis and whatever profits are made will be divided among the horsemen in that they will be put back into the purses. Floyd Mc-Kenney, presiding steward at Tanforan, has been appointed to serve in a like capacity at Del Monte. Other officials will be named later.
