MELBAS DESCENDANTS Melba, a daughter of imp. Mortemer Trill, foaled a filly that was named Perverse. Perverse in turn foaled two daughters, one named Traverse, the other Contrary. Traverse foaled Transmute and Contrary foaled Diavolo. Both were bred by the Whitney stud, both were outstanding race horses and both are successful sires.
