Colgate Opens Drills on Sept. 3 HAMILTON, N. Y., Aug. 20 UP . Some 50 Colgate University youths are expected to report to head football coach Hal Lahar September 3 to begin pre-season drills. Lahar, beginning his second year as Red Raider mentor, said 21 lettermen and 10 reserves from last years team will prob-. ably be on hand this. year. Last years squad won six and lost three. The Red Raiders open September 22 against Cornell at Ithaca.
