VanBerg Has Two Winners, One Second on Pairmount Program FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, HI., Aug. 20. A three-horse division of the Marion H. VanBerg Stable that arrived here on Tuesday morning came out in force on Wednesday night and almost made a perfect score. Sturdy Just missed and finished second in the opening race on the card, and then trainer E. G. "Red" Ma-honey saddled Sister Cora for a driving victory in the fifth race and Brownanne for a galloping score in the eighth. Sister Cora was a favorite, but Brownanne mildly surprised the local people and paid 9.20. VanBerg, a Nebraska horseman who annually is among the leading trainers of the country, also currently has horses running at Washington Park and at Hazel Park. Jockey Melvin Duhon was the riding star on the program with a triple. He won with Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Holmans Mais Boy, Mrs. R. Flemings Stilton and Jack Fick-lers Charbob.
