ARAB ACTRESS was off well and . soon took a position close to the early leaders on the outside, then came rather wide in the stretch, but finished full of run Wget to the front in the last sixteenth and won drawing out. LILLAL was quick to begin and quickly opened up daylight on the others, then saved ground in the stretch, but bore out at midstretch and continued gamely when straightened out, but was unable to resist the winner and was doing her best to hold MIMI MINE. The latter was in the center of the pack in the early running and appeared to be in rather tight quarters nearing the stretch turn, then came to the outside to close fast and gamely. EDDIE SUE, while -tmable to keep up with the early leaders, raced evenly in a commendable effort. DEAR PAT, in close quarters early, saved ground in the stretch to finish fast. FULVOUS was a solid contender in the early stages and was going fairly well when she seemed to be bothered when LILLAL bore out and in rather tight quarters when passed by ARAB ACTRESS. The others displayed little when it came to an issue. Scratched 98087 Sally Catbird, 114. Overweight Dear Pat, 1 pound; Belle Nell, 4; Queen of Cairo, 2. EIGHTH RACE 1 MILE out of chute.
