Dayis Shipping Three Rings, Hine Others to Narragansett RANDAKL. PARK, North Randall, Ohio, Aug. 20. Owner-trainer Doug Davis, Jr., announced this morning taht he will ship 10 horses to Narragansett over the week end. Mrs. Evelyn L. Hopkins Three Rings heads the contingent which will also include her Pampas Beauty, and Carmelette. Others slated to depart, are Nachez Girl, Welcome Guest, Admirals Wave, Bless America, Elaine Ruth, Miss Tinka, and V. P. McMahons Hallprint. Jockey Marcus Pena will leave Randall Park along with Davis and will handle the riding assignments at the New England track. Apprentice Tommy Clinch, under contract to Davis: and who just last week broke his maiden, will remain here at Randall Park. Da,yis leaves 17 horses, at Randall in the care of Lucian Miller.. Several of the- thoroughbreds who are headed for New England may return for stakes engagements, to be run here later in the meeting and at ThistleDown.
