Sultans Heir, Hi Ante Meet in Fairmount Dash Share Highweight Honors of 118 For Featured Forrest Park Purse By WILLIAM C. PHILLIPS Staff Correspondent FAIRMOUNT PARK, Collinsville, HI., Aug. 20. An interesting feature is on tap here tomorrow night in the Forrest Park Purse, a six-furlong dash that attracted seven performers who, almost without ex-ceptionr have shown good form recently and appear capable of a victory. Melvin Duhon, who rode three winners last night to tie Frank Keene for top honors among the local jockeys, will be astride Mrs. Annie Manzos Sultans Heir. The latter shares highweight honors of 118 pounds with C. N. Salernos Hi Ante, to be ridden by- Athony Iudkra who, is, iust. one winner behind his rivals in the close jockey standings. Sultans Heir will attract a good following after an impressive eight lengths tally at five and one -half furlongs earlier in the week, but the: son of The Sultan was previously beaten off and he. advances a notch in company tomorrow. Also victorious in their last essays, but moving forward, in class, are I. A. Riggins Charm Circle and C. C. Kanes Kar-Al-Lot. The field is abundant with speed and E. D. Reeds Persaltum, a gray horse who makes his. run through the stretch, may be in the right spot to successfully utilize his late courage. Kenneth Robertson, a strong boy in the drive, will be in the saddle and Persaltum comes off of a good effort in which he finished second. C. C. Buntings Teddy Chick was fourth in a, shifty field last week and before, that finished second. Hi Ante was somewhat of a dissappointment the. last time, but, his previous effort was a creditable, second. The only one appearing overmatched is Whirling Feet, who performs for T.. J. Stewart, Jr.
