TIME ROLL, slow to begin, came through along the inside on the final turn, assumed command and steadily drew clear. GOOD QUESTION assumed command soon after the start, shook off repeated challenges, came out slightly on the final turn and held on gamely after losing the lead. HI GEORGIE, forwardly placed, raced wide on the final turn. MOP UP closed ground from off the pace. TRAVELER weakened after forcing the pace. NINE GEES showed speed for a half mile and weakened. LAST LAP showed nothing. CORUSCATE was unable to keep up. LIVELETLIVE was outrun. LUCKY CODINE showed nothing. SIRENS RING moved along the inside early, came outside for the drive but was not good enough. POTTERAC rallied mildly in closing stages. WRIGHTS WRONG, steadied when outrun down the backstretch, came outside when roused but was unable to threaten. PROMISING was unable to keep up. PRINCESS BLY was outrun. LUNAR PARK, used early to remain within striking distance of the pace, came through along the inside. on the final turn, came out in front and drew clear under pressure. TEXAS MELODY raced EASTER HOUR into submission after a half mile, was drawing clear as the winner challenged and continued on gamely to outfinish GUNGA DIN. The latter, slow to begin, moved outside in the final quarter mile and closed with a rush. OUR TEMPER, shuffled back early, rallied mildly in the late stages. SUN JEEP drove up on the inside, ran up on horses heels and had to take up sharply in the stretch. AILEENS PRIDE weakened. DANDY- WAG, unable to keep up, retired steadily.
