Everett Clarifies Position DEL MAR, Calif., Aug. 20. When interviewed concerning his status with the Las Vegas Jockey Club, Webb Everett, who has been working with that organization in an advisory capacity, issued the following statement: "I have been asked by several horsemen to clarify my position in the Las Vegas Jockey Club. I am a substantial stockholder in the Jockey Club and I have every intention of staying with this organization in an advisory capacity and will devote my very best efforts in making this meeting a tremendous success. It is my opinion that this race track has greater possibilities than any other track that has opened in the past 20 years."
