Name Langley Presiding Judge For Coming Meet at Maywood MAYWOOD, 111., Aug. 20. C. J. "Pete" Langley, of Oak Park, 111., will serve as presiding judge for the night harness racing; meeting which opens Monday and extends through October 31 at Maywood Park, itj was announced yesterday by William yj "Jake" Ward, of Springfield, 111., president of the Fox Valley Trotting Club. N Langley will also serve as general steward representing the Illinois Harness Racing Commission. Associate judges will be Edr Vogel, Solon Mills., HI., and James Speaker, Wilmette, 111. Other officials include John Dale, Mt Vernon, HI., starter; B. J. Harrington, TJr-bana, HI., paddock judge; Frank Pennino Cicero, 111., assistant paddock judge; R. J. Vallentine, Carrol ton, HI.; C. D. Stone, Oregon, HI., and Dave Russell, Aurora, H. patrol judges; Joseph Harbutt, Cicero, HI., track superintendent; Harold Fidler, Evans-ton, 111., mutuel manager, and Dr. L. A Dykstra, Aurora, HI., veterinarian. Mrs. Forrest Burright, Oregon, HI.;, Luther Wiley, Cicero, 111., and Bob Nuss-baumer, Park Ridge, HI., will be timers. Charlene Ordahl, of Maywood, HI., will be clerk of the course, and Andy Cunningham, , of Baltimore, Md., will be the announcer.
