Dawson Kayos Aussie Rival SYDNEY, Australia, Aug. 27 UP. Freddie Dawson of Chicago knocked out Bernie Hall, a local welterweight fighter, tonight in the last round of their 12-round match at Leichhardt Stadium. Dawson, who "knocked Hall out of the ring in an earlier round, was leading by a wide margin in points when the knockout came. The American weighted 143 pounds; Hall scaled 148 Y2.
