Crazette Likely Choice In Feature at Hamilton Mrs. Flowers Mare Meets Small Field of Fiye in Sprint Today By R. . HURLEY Staff Correspondent HAMILTON, Ohio, Aug. 27. Mrs. Frances Flowers Crazette, who has been giving futile. chase to Ironclad around the turns here, finally gets away from the champion of this half-mile oval as she meets a small field of five in the six-and-a-half furlong feature here on Friday. Crazette has chased Ironclad three times locally and will be favored off those efforts, but might find the likes of F. N. Berrys Temple Bar, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Maxwells Bee Golly, R. E. Spicers Musical Score, G. Bushners Tiny Git and McLeod and Becks Otsego Miss almost as difficult as the absent champ. Though she has not visited the winners cirle here at Hamilton, Crazette has the en viable record of being unplaced only once this season while facing the barrier 13 times. The daughter of Kansas Pretty Pal is always dependable for a good showing and can handle the field in the London Purse with her usual steady effort. Temple Bar, Tiny Git and Bee Golly have finished first in races here though the last named was placed second for interference. Temple Bar has two straight to his credit and will have the services of Colin Knisley, who is currently leading the local riding brigade. The five-year-old son of Bulls Eye Ila Lee must tote top weight of 120 under the allowance conditions of the race and it is doubtful that he can give Crazette eight pounds. Tiny Git returned to her early season form during her last start here, scoring a front-running triumph over seven furlongs. Knisley was the rider of the Bushner matron that day and must make the "Devil , Diver choice" between Temple Bar and Tiny 1 Git on Friday. The selection will not be as crucial as the famous Arcaro switch to Devil Diver in the 1942 Kentucky Derby won by . Shut Out, his stablemate, but it is one of A the interesting sidelights of racing thaH constantly enthralls racegoers.
