HAM BONE held sway to the stretch under hustling tactics, retained a slight lead when set down for the ultimate test, then tired. EVANS MOUNTAIN came out to the middle of the track for the drive, but lacked the necessary rally. STAR OF PERSIA had no excuse. PERFECT POWER was always outrun, as was DONNA BOORSE.
