Read Interested in Turf Stakes ATLANTIC CITY, Mays Landing, N. J., Aug. 27. Walter A. Read, owner of the French-bred Nitribois, a candidate for the 5,000 added Foreign Bred Stakes division of the "Triple Turf Classic," will have more than a passing interest in the mile and a furlong turf race. In addition to seeking the-top laurels on September 16 with Nitribois and an invitation to the 0,000 added United Nations Handicap, Read also will cast a discerning eye upon several other members of the field who were brought to the country last spring by the transplanted New Zealander. Of the 35 foreign-bred eligibles, Read imported five nominees to this country, Nitribois, Brown and McCartys Luck Penny, Charfran Stables Cockfosters, Irving Gushens Soldier Son and Hasty House Farms Stan. -r
