Lois Cooks Parents of Son HAZEL PARK, Mich., Aug. 27. Jockey Lois Cook, one of the better journeyman riders in Michigan this season, became the proud father of a five-pound son at 11:30 a. m. today. Mrs. Cook and the new arrival are doing nicely at Detroits New Grace Hospital. Cook canceled seven mounts on the mid-week card.
