Dade Park Minimum Purses Are Increased to ,000 DADE PARK, Henderson, Ky., Aug. 27. James C. Ellis, owner of Dade Park, announced here today that the purses on Friday would be raised 00. In the future the minimum will be ,000. In instructing racing secretary L. H. Van Zandt to raise the purses Ellis also advised the racing secretary to add 00 to the daily program for the remainder of the meeting. It is the second time this season the purses have been raised.
