Baltimore Bullets Engage In Second Big Player Deal BALTIMORE, Md., Aug. 27 UP. The Baltimore Bullets of the National Basketball Association today traded their leading scorer, lanky Don Barksdale, to the Boston Celtics for four players and an undisclosed amount of cash. It was the weeks second played deal for the Bullets, whose coach, Clair Bee, has instituted a program of rebuilding the club around younger players. The four players acquired from the Celtics are 24 years of age or under. Only one of the four, six-foot, four-inch Francis Mahoney, has had professional basketball experience. He was discharged from the Army last February in time to see limited service with the Celtics in 10 games. The others acquired by the Bullets were Vernon Stokes, ex-St. Francis College star; Jim Doherty, former high-scoring -forward at Whitworth College, and former- Canisius College player, Herman Hedderick, who- is in the jmy. Hedderick has played baseball with Cincinnati farm clubs.
