► Dancer Favors Right Foot BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 24. — Native Dancer may have foot trouble again. Following a sparkling mile and a furlong prep Sunday morning, it was noted that Alfred G. Van-derbilts gray champion was favoring his right foot. His shoes were taken off and The Dancer was X-rayed, the pictures proving negative. Trainer Bill Winfrey said today that he did not believe that the injury, if any, would interfere with the colts appearance in next Mondays Suburban Handicap, but added that Native Dancer would be rested for a day or two while he awaited developments. The trainer said that he has not been able to find any trace of bruise on what he described as a "tender tootsie."
