| Pondfield ThistleDown Arrival THISTLEDOWN, Warrensville, Ohio, May 24. — Managing director Louis Pond-field arrived at this course today and immediately swung into action on readying the track for its opening on June 6. Pond-field left his Baltimore home on Sunday, after viewing the Preakness at Pimlico on Saturday afternoon. Pondfield is a director at the latter plant.
