DO-DO, outrun in the first quarter mile, was confidently handled while moving to the leaders, gained a contending position after six furlongs, moved to BARBAREBA straightening out in the stretch and outgamed his rival to the finish. BARBAREBA was close to the pace throughout, got to the frqnt in the early stretch, but could not resist the bid of the winner. SUPER-SALESMAN disputed the pace with FERRYMAN and held on well. CHARLES was always in contention and tired only slightly. FERRYMAN quit badly. Scratched— 17289 Coincident, 113. Overweight— Barbareba, 2 pounds; Unizano, 3; Ferryman, 4. Briars Red claimed by B. J.
