MISTER CARTER was well placed in the early running and, moving to the front after entering the stretch, drew out to win as if much the best. SILVER BOBBY was quick out of the gate and cut out a good early pace, but was no match for the winner, although easily holding the others. PIE BED improved his position gradually and was racing well at the finish. FUMANDO finished with courage. MYOMIKE weakened after making a good move. DRAFTING ROOM was unable to keep up. LION was well rated while following the pace closely, then moved to the front after entering the stretch to show an exceptionally game effort at the finish and bested DR. OLE NELSON. The latter ran his usual dependable race, closing ground to the best of his ability and proved to be a worthy opponent for the winner. FLOYD E seemed to lack the quality of the first two, but went well to the end. MARETAZO was unable to keep up. PEACE JITTERS was outpaced. NINTH RACE 1 1-16 MILES. BESTOW had good speed from the start, and clinging tenaciously to his lead through the stretch, withstood WINNOWETTE. The latter, close up, was strongly urged and was going fast at the finish. BLUE ROGER turned in a good effort to finish well. FLEET REWARD was going well at the finish. ANNA CHARGE tired. STRAWBERRYLANE was unable to keep, up.
