Lindheimer Says Improvement Program Ahead of Schedule Benjamin F. Lindheimer, executive director of Arlington and Washington Parks, returned to his home here Monday following a short business trip to New York. Lindheimer reported the big improvement program at the two tracks, which is costing over ,000,000, is well ahead of schedule and will be ready well before the openings at the respective tracks. Arlington will open on June 24 and run for 35 days, and will* be followed by Washington Park, which will operate 30 days, from August 4 through September 7.
