Golden Wave Jap Derby Winner Special to Daily Racing Form TOKYO, Japan, May 24 Reuters. — Golden Wave, 65-to-l outsider, who paid the equivalent of 8.50 for 29 cents 6,620 yen to 100 yen Sunday won the twenty-first running of the Japanese Derby, nations top classic for three-year-olds over 12 furlongs. Golden Wave beat the well fancied Takao by three lengths with Mine-masz third at the Fuchu race course.
