CEREMONY took command early, made the pace to the stretch and, responding to strong handling, held DOGEJANA safe. The latter, a sharp factor from the start, closed strongly under urging, but could not get to the top one. HARPETH MISS gave a good effort and had no excuse. CHIMAPHILA, -forced wide entering the stretch, was unable to better his position when set down in the drive. FLASH RED began fast, but dropped back immediately after the start. POLYCHREST was outrun. MISS OXFORD, alertly handled, took command early, raced SUN IDOL BOY into defeat, then held on gamely under urging to withstand SILENCE. The latter, never far back and saving ground, remained next to the inner rail for the drive and closed strongly but could not overtake the to pone. SUN IDOL BOY raced nearest MISS OXFORD to the final furlong, then faltered. HASTY SUN gave a fair effort and had no mishap. HI BOB failed to rally when set down through the stretch. BAM-BOOZLER lacked early foot and pulled up sore. FAST COSMIC showed nothing. BARGAIN MISS raced wide. RICKSHAW was through early. SON AL had early foot but failed to stay.
