Stewards Rulings PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 24. — The stewards issued the following rulings today: "Jockey Oliver Cutshaw is suspended 10 days Tuesday, May 25, through Friday, June 4, for careless riding astride Jac. Brier in the eighth race Saturday, r May 22. • "Jockey James Baird is suspended 10 days Tuesday, May 25, through Friday, June 4, for reporting unfit to fulfill his riding engagements. "Trainer Frank A. Bonsai is fined 00.00 for sending Potpourri to the paddock improperly plated under the rules governing turf races." BEULAH PARK, Grove City, Ohio, May 24. — The stewards today issued the following rulings: "Groom Lawrence Turner is hereby suspended for the balance of the Beu-lah Park meeting and his case is referred to the Ohio State Racing Commission for conduct detrimental to the best interests of racing, namely assault and engaging in an altercation off the race track." "Groom Danny Davis is hereby suspended for the balance of the Beulah Park meeting and his case is referred to the Ohio State Racing Commission for conduct detrimental to the best interests of racing, namely assault and engaging in an altercation off the racetrack." AGUA CALIENTE, Tijuana, Mexico, May 24.— The stewards issued the following rulings: "For not giving sufficent racing room astride Red Petticoat during the running of the ninth race, May 23, causing severe interference rounding the first turn, apprentice jockey Phil Grohs has been suspended 10 days, commencing. Tuesday, May 25, and culminating June 4. "For not making proper effort to keep his mount, Flag Honors, straight during the stretch run of the tenth race on Sunday, May 23, and causing interference to Lampglo and the disqualification of his mount from second to third, apprentice jockey Raul Contreras is suspended for 10 days, commencing Tuesday, May 25 and culminating June 4." WOODBINE PARK, Toronto, Ont., May 24. — "Jockey Herbert Lindberg is suspended for five days, May 26 to May 31, inclusive, for failing to keep his mount straight after leaving the gate, and interfering with inside horses in the sixth race on Saturday, May 22.
