SEASCAPE, always within striking distance, was under prolonged punishment in the stretch run and, saving ground, outfinished INLET MISS. The latter v/as restrained closest to the pace, assumed command when ready, but bore out badly on the stretch turn and, after renaming a clear lead, suddenly faltered near the end. HURRY-SKURRY oradually made uo distance into the stretch, then hung. EAST BAY was a prominent factor and weakened. TURKEY BOOTS had no excuse. MEG MARCH gave a dull effort.
