TULSA was slow to get in stride but gained gradually and getting through next to the rail entering the stretch, closed steadily to take command and hold THIRD LADY. The latter was badly outrun in the first part but made up much ground when too late. MACHIG0NNE was always a fairly good contender and finished steadily. QUEENS REGRET had good early speed but weakened in the stretch. TOP SPINNER dosed much ground from a. slow start. FAITHFUL RING and GLADFOOTE had early speed. OAK RIVER was never too far from the pace and took a short lead in the stretch, but was unable to resist the winner and just lasted to hold FINE FETTLE. The latter made a good SMfl?nr,,e5nrin9 the stl?tch and was 90i"9 gamely at the end to finish in a dead-heat with OAK RIVER. DOWN YONDER went, evenly.
