Osborne Tops Beulah Trainers; Winters Leaves for Waterford BEULAH PARK, Grove City, Ohio, May 26. — Trainer Gale Osborne saddled his sixth winner in as many days when he sent out J. Hodges The Blue Goose in the fourth race on Tuesday. It was the second consecutive winner for the aged The Sultan — Sarah mare. Osborne is the leading trainer at the meeting with nine winners. Herb Jolley is closest in rivalry, having saddled six, and C. E. Green has five. Osborne has piled up his score by saddling one winner a day since last Wednesday. A. R. Winters, who served, as a steward during the first 14 days of this meeting, left here last night to take up his duties at Waterford Park in Chester, W. Va. Winters is steward for the West Virginia State Racing Commission, a position he has held for many years. F. G. Wilson, another member in the stewards* stand, will leave here Monday night at the close of this meeting, and anticipates-the pleasure of seeing his daughter, Marjorie be graduated from St. Theresas High School in Coral Gables, Florida next* Wednesday.
