AL FAHEY, under restraint early, circled the field while rallying and gained a narrow victory over BATTLE II. The latter ran through the hedge at the first turn, remained along the Inside to close with a rush and just missed. He was disqualified for having left the course and was placed last. SKYODE improved his position gradually to attain a clear lead at trie furlong marker, then just missed. CARLS ABBIE could not menace the top three. YOCK BILL dropped back after having jumped the path along the backstretch, ROBOH held a long lead for more than a half mile, stopped badly and came back lame. ADVICE quit.
