Battle II. Ran Off Course PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md., May 26. — Some patrons of Pimlico on Tuesday were surprised when the stewards took down the number of Eli Maters Battle II. after" the finish of the eighth event, run on the- turf. The reason for the surprise was that the fans did not see Battle TX run off the course on the first turn, which automatically disqualified him. Trained by J. V." Stewart, Battle TX was ridden by Tommy Kane.
