SVIDH0D, a keen factor from the start, disposed of SHORT SIS after entering the stretch and drew clear, winning with something left. SHORT SIS took command at once, set the pace to the final furlong, but could not hold the winner, although much the best of the others. DAWNEY, rank at the post, finished fairly well, but could not threaten the top pair. ALICIA ANN saved ground throughout and tired during the stretch run. GAMBELLA raced wide throughout REDDY TEDDY raced nearest SHORT SIS to the stretch, but had nothing left for the drive. CHALLENGE WITT had no mishap. BILLS CAROL was outrun. NEWATE swerved to the outside soon after the break, losing all chance. SYLBEL had no excuse. FANNY WOOD showed nothing. CRIMSON DUST was far back the entire trip. BRIEF BRAND saved ground while in hand to the stretch, responded readily when set down in the drive and, disposing of GARALORTER, held SURE TRY safe. SURE TRY, reserved to the last quarter mile, finished determinedly under brisk urging but could not get to the winner. ADMIRALSCRIPT held on well in a good effort and had on mishap. TEA BISCUIT lacked early speed but closed strongly under punishment. GARALORTER went to the front early, swerved to the inside when set down for the stretch run and held on well to the final furlong before tiring. SHAMROCK LAD, rank at the post, engaged GARALORTER for three-quarters mile, then gave way. WATSEKA showed nothing. Scratched— 177372 Frabotta, 106. Overweight— Brief Brand, 1 pound; Tea Biscuit, 1. EASTER HOUR went to the front early, was taken in hand after leaving the upper turn, then came again when set down through the stretch and, disposing of BILLS HYGRO, held HALRACK same. The latter, a sharp factor from, the outset, finished strongly under punishment, but could not overtake the winner. BILLS HYGRO, away slowly, was hustled to reach serious contention, settled for the drive with a short lead, then faltered when challenged by EASTER HOUR. RIDDLETON, outrun early and racing wide, made up ground when straightened for the drive. TWINT0NE was never dangerous. WAR BULLET began fast, but-failed to stay. KALLUKI was through early. BEANIR, well handled, took command early, raced CIMMERONA into defeat before entering the stretch despite drifting* out at the final turn, then responded readily when ridden out and won going away. CIMMERONA, a sharp factor from the start, was unable to reach the winner, but held on gamely to best the others. YOUNG FELLOW could not better his position when set down through the stretch. MY FAULT, on the outside throughout, finished fairly well under punishment TALMEN began alertly, but could not keep up after the break. NEW MAN tired after making a mild bid in the early stretch. MOI ET TOl could not keep up after showing, early speed. LITTLE COLONEL raced wide. SORB was never dangerous. ROSEMARY B. was far back throughout. Scratched-054133 Trip Lightly, 110. ULA took command at once, set the pace until inside the stretch but had nothing left when challenged by LANDMARK GAL. ALACASSULA lacked early speed and was unable to reach the leaders when set down for the drive. LA MOTHE began sluggishly. BOLING POLLY showed nothing. WHAT A PEACH tired during the stretch run. ALEIF had early foot but failed to stay. IN FORM engaged ULA for a half mile, then gave way. Attendance, 8,114; Total Mutuel Pool, 70,934.
