EVEREST, reserved within striking distance of the pace, moved in between horses to challenge inside the final furlong and forged to the front in the final yards. ISH-KABBLE worked his way up along the inside to assume command and just missed QUATREFOIL rallied to challenge the leaders and appeared to hang. BOOMER drew into a long lead early was under steadying restraint until the stretch and failed to respond when put to pressure. JAKABLOM caught tiring horses. REEDY CREEK showed a dull effort. FLEETING BY broke very slowly and trailed. The others were outrun. Scratched— 16112 Eagle Look, 113; 172892 George Collins, 113; 17176 Grumpito. 113. Overweight— Nirvana, 3 pounds.
