Bassett and Perez to Meet In Garden Bout on June 25 ■NEW YORK, N. Y. May 26 UP,— Percy Bassett of Philadelphia and young Lulu Perez of Brooklyn were matched today lor a 12-round TV-radio featherweight challengers first at Madison Square Garden, June 25. Chairman Robert iK. Christenberry of the New York Boxing Commission said: "The winner will be entitled to a shot at -Sandy Saddlers crown." Saddler, who .received -his discharge from the Army in April, is expected to defend in August or September. His last defense was on September 26, 1951, when he stopped ex-champion Willie Pep in the ninth round.
