French Official at Belmont BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 26. — The Baron Pierre de Laussus, a committee member of the French Jockey Club, is visiting Belmont Park as the guest of Horatio Luro. De Laussus is here primarily to study the saliva and urinalysis procedure at American tracks, as these tests are to be made compulsory in France on a systematic basis this year, in contrast to the comparative haphazard methods of the past. The French official also expressed interest in the working of the film patrol, which he said could be employed to advantage in France.
