Milwaukee Hawks to Play In St. Louis Next Season NEW YORK, N. Y., May 11 UP.— The : National Basketball Associations board of governors today approved the transfer of the Milwaukee Hawks to St. Louis for next season. Ben Kerner, owner of the Hawks franchise, said the sale of season tickets in I St. Louis warranted the transfer. Kerner said previously that the sale of 1,000 season . tickets was a prerequisite for the move I to St. Louis. Approximately 600 to 700 tickets already have been sold and the sale I was progressing rapidly. The Hawks will play their home games at Kiel Auditorium. The club acquired All-America ■ Dick Ricketts of Duquesne, Jack : Stephens of Notre Dame and Al Ferrari i of Michigan State in this years draft, to go with and nucleus that includes former f All -Americans Frank Selvy and Bob Pettit. .
