Nances Lad Arrival at Pimlico PIMLICO. Baltimore. Md.. May 11.— Nances Lad. winner of the Hutcheson, Fountain of Youth and Swift Stakes so far this season and an outstanding candidate for honors on Saturday, May 28 when the Preakness will be run, was vanned into Pimlico today from Laurel. The colt gave evidence that he retains his speed when he worked a mile at Laurel in 1:43%, breezing. Nances Lad is owned by C. J. Caithness and Hilton A. Dabson and is trained by the latter.
