GREAT HABIT, after being slow to respond, joined the leaders from the outside soon after entering the -stretch and hung. FROSTY WHIRL, allowed to lag early, saved ground to join the first flight, attained a slight lead briefly nearing the end and gave way. TORTILLA weakened after assuming command at the furlong pole.
