Butch K., Ak-Sar-Ben Favorite, Awaits Omaha Course Meeting OMAHA, Nebr., May 11.— Butch K., consistent favorite at Ak-Sar-Ben for the past five years, awaits the 35-day meeting starting May 19 at the civic organizations • course. "Big Buteh," now eight years old, ! ! is the top runner in Guy and Walter Schultz menage. Last year. Butch K., a gelded son of Whisk K — Sister Esther, finished in the money in 16 of 17 starts, winning six races and earning 0,000 for his Oklahoma i owners. Among his victories was the Memorial Handicap at Ak-Sar-Ben. The Schultz brothers have raced at Ak-Sar-Ben since 1937. They will bid for purses at the forthcoming meeting here with 14 thoroughbreds, who won 12 races in 1954. Among last years winners are Esther K„ sister of Butch K.; a half brother of the latter— Robin K; Nod On, Bud K, Roxy K and Lady Lassator.
