GALA MORN, hustled along early to gain the lead, raced slightly wide, turned back OFF WE GO when put to a drive in the early stretch and had enough left to outlast HATROCK. The latter, held in reserve early while awaiting racing room,- moved through along the inside when clear in the stretch and finished strongly, OFF WE GO, prominent from the start, raced wide and appeared to hang in the final drive. MOSEID found his best stride too late. STRONGPLAY was never a factor. JETAIR was through early. FLOWER QUEEN, slow to begin, was blocked along the inside I for the first quarter mile, came to the extreme outside thereafter and failed to reach a striking position. TONYS GEM never was far back, raced on the outside throughout, wore down the leaders while under pressure on entering the stretch and in a stiff drive outlasted FINAL PROOF. The latter, slow to settle in stride as usual, came to the outside to make his bid on the final turn and was getting to the winner. BLEN SAND improved his racing position steadily from between horses after a slow start to be easily best of the others. PINOCCHIO raced wide early and faltered. CHERIBEACON tired after making a mild rally on the stretch turn. SARA-CHANA, hard held while blocked along the inside early, moved to the front when clear, but had nothing left when the real test came. LITTLE LARK tired from his early effort. THE RIVER attained a, striking position early, wore down the leaders from outside while lugging in through the stretch run and appeared much the best. IMPRESSED forced the early pace while in hand, raced greenly while wresting command between calls in the final furlong and held on fairly well. OUR PLEASURE had no apparent excuse in an even effort. VENOMOUS gave way suddenly after cutting out a swift pace to midstretch. * SPICE ROUND was always far back. CHERRY BULL, held under snug restraint while being outrun early, came wide into the stretch when making his bid and outfinished OVERPRICED. The latter, also slow to begin, slipped through along the inner rail in the stretch to wrest command inside the final sixteenth and just failed to last MIGHTY WISH, far back for the first half-mile, came extremely wide when rallying NARRAGANSETT PARK Continued from Page Twelve and finished fastest of all. RED LIPS was sent up fast on the outside rounding the turn to wrest command on entering the stretch and faltered only slightly in, the final drive. QUEENSWARE had speed, gave way to GUNROD when challenged on leaving the backstretch, came out when rallying in the stretch and wore down the leader a sixteenth out. JILLION BARELS, unhurried in the early stages, came wide into the stretch and finished full of run. GUNROD hustled along early to gain the lead, saved ground and gave way suddenly in the late stages. NOBLE LANDING was never a serious factor. HIGH ORE was through early. SOUND OF DAWN was always far back. RED PERFUME went in the air at the start.
