TANFRAN, taken in hand at the start and again steadied midway on the turn, came around the leaders with a rush at the head of the stretch and drew out easily. LATEISH saved ground vying for the lead and held on well tb best BOLD CUZN. The latter was a sharp factor between horses and held on well. RE JOLI was outrun. LORD RULER had speed and tired. SWEET STROLLER was done early. TIGER MATCHES was repeatedly taken back racing on the inside of horses. Overweight— Lady GorT. 2 pounds. The latter, unhurried while far back, swung to the middle of the track for the stretch drive and closed with a rush. RICH AND RARE was rated forwardly, came to the outside challenging on the stretch turn and could not stay with the top pair. TEMPO lost ground racing on the outside in an even effort. MARES BEAU lacked speed away from the gate, was under a steady drive racing to the front and into a clear lead entering the stretch, and did not have enough left. HEART S DESIRE would not stay with the leaders early but finished-well over the others. LA VERITE was outrun into the stretch and caught tiring horses. KAPICHAN had high early speed and stopped. KING HAIRAN broke alertly, dueled for the lead outside of four horses down the backstretch and gradually drew into a clear lead on the turn, saved ground entering the stretch and withstood a hard drive to hold IRATE safe. The latter was hustled in pursuit of the leaders immediately after settling into stride, lost some ground on the outside rallying on the turn, continued strongly in the stretch drive and was gradually gaining. CLEM was reserved off the pace to the quarter pole, then was steered to the middle of the track at the head of the stretch and finished fastest of all. TRUE VERDICT, between horses vying for the pace, had to be briefly steadied as KING HAIRAN went to the front on the final turn and weakened. SOFT DAY dropped back after a good beginning, raced between horses and finished well. BAKHT gave an even effort. HIGH SPARKLE was unhurried while being outrun and appeared unwilling coming between horses in the drive. LUCKY GEORGE and BANDIT vied for the lead for three furlongs and faltered.
