Audubon Park Condition Book Is Released to Horsemen HENDERSON, Ky., May 11.— The condition book for Audubon Park Raceways inaugural running meet, May 29 through June 22, was released to horsemen today by racing secretary Jack Klucina. The opening card on Wednesday, May 29, carries seven races for three-year-olds and upward and one event, at five furlongs, for two-year-old maidens. Purses the first day range from ,000 to ,200, claiming prices from ,500 to ,500, and distances of the races for the older horses will include two sprints at five furlongs, three races at six and one-half furlongs, and two at one and one-sixteenth miles. Highlighting the activities of . the first week will be the Decoration Day Handicap, a six and one-half furlong event for three-year-olds and up. The purse for the handicap will be ,500 with nominations for the event closing Tuesday, May 28. Work on the track itself is nearing completion, according to track manager Francis G. Stader.
