; » I , 1 De Leon Riding at Cahokia CAHOKIA DOWNS, East St. Louis, 111.. May 11. — An addition to the jockey colony is apprentice Oswaldo De Leon, a native of Panama City, Panama. De Leon, who claims to have ridden only 10 winners in two years of riding, is 24, can do as light as 100 pounds and his contract, owned by Senator J. M. Quintero of Panama, has been leased for the local season to H. E. Smith. De Leon got a late start in his pres- ent career having preference in a college graduation on which he completed a course in printing.
