Distaffers in Garden State Spotlight Rancocas, Betsy y Ross This Week Poly Hi, Dandy Blitzen and Melody Mine to Seek Former; I Offbeat in Saturday Race GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 11. — Twin features highlight the weeks racing at Garden State Park with distaff preformers dominating the stakes schedule. On Wednesday, the first midweek feature of the spring meeting will be contested. It is the 5,000 added Rancocas , Stakes, a five-furlong test for two-year-old fillies. The 5,000 added Betsy Ross Stakes J follows on Saturday. This six-furlong dash is the only fixture on the current agenda j exclusively for three-year-old fillies. The , Rancocas was lavishly patronized with 104 . nominees. The big name in the Rancocas roster is , Mrs. S. George Zauderers Poly Hi. winner ■ of the recent Rosedale. This was the first stakes victory for the chestnut daughter of Polynesian and her fourth score in six starts. Elmendorfs Oil Rich and P. H. B. j a Frelinghuysens Burst O Song which fin-ished directly behind Poly Hi in the Rose- i dale also are Rancocas eligibles. Of the £ Rancocas eligibles on the grounds, two J have won here. One is B. A. Darios Dandy £ Blitzen and the other is F. A. Shermans Daunissa who officially opened the pres- , ent season with a 10 payoff in the first race on opening day. , Big Rush 3,000 Purchase j William Hal Bishops Melody Mine is a double victress and was but a neck back of Dandy Blitzen in her winning race. Mrs. j Ella K. Brysons Searching Wind and Short Brook Farms Craftiness also turned j in creditable performances in that race. J Another interesting Rancocas candidate is , C. V.
