May 11. — The stewards issued the following rulings here today: "Jockey Thomas McGovern is hereby Cont-nued on Page Forty :Si*. - - - 1 Stewards Rulings Continued from Page Three suspended for ten racing days for careless riding leaving the starting gate in the sixth race. May 10. The suspension begins May 14, ending May 24, inclusive. "Jockey Arthur Green is hereby suspended ten racing days for careless riding leaving the starting gate in the sixth race. May 10. The suspension begins May 14, ending May 24, inclusive." BAY MEADOWS, San Mateo, Calif.. May 11. — The Bay Meadows board of stewards handed down the following ruling Friday: "For rough riding in the eighth race May 9 in which he carried Kevin S. out through the stretch and in addition used his whip illegally, jockey Merrill Faulkner, who rode Shes a Bang, is suspended for 10 racing days and fined the sum of 00. He will be eligible to accept mounts May 28, 1957."
