May 11. — The Bay Meadows board of stewards handed down the following ruling Friday: "For rough riding in the eighth race May 9 in which he carried Kevin S. out through the stretch and in addition used his whip illegally, jockey Merrill Faulkner, who rode Shes a Bang, is suspended for 10 racing days and fined the sum of 00. He will be eligible to accept mounts May 28, 1957."
