; ► Champlain, Wilson Renewals on Roster Former Will Be Contested Wednesday, Latter to Head Saturdays Jamaica Card JAMAICA, L. I., N. Y., May 11.— Speed is emphasized at Jamaica in the impending week, with the two stakes on the agenda both being at six furlongs. These are the Champlain Handicap for fillies and mares, which will have its 42nd running on Wednesday, and the Wilson Cap on Saturday. Both the Champlain and Wilson carry 0,000 in added money. Ellis Farms Little Pache heads the Champlain with 126 pounds. The opposition is expected to come from Infatuation, 118: First Asking, 115; Glamour and Tar-quilla, 112 each; Royal Lark and Stolen Hour, 111 apiece; Careless Miss, 109; Jet Girl and Magic. Forest, 109, and Louise Bell and Scansion, 106 pounds. Wilson Weights Monday Weights for the Wilson, which lias been marked down from a mile to three-quarters, are due on Monday with Paul Andolinos Boston Doge and Chester J. Caithness Nances Lad expected to head the list. Boston Doge is currently in New England, while Nances Lad is in todays sixth race. Other possibilities in Saturdays fixture include Ellis Farms Flying Bird, Mrs. Julie Mirons Jutland, Mrs. Natalie Lynchs Nans Mink, Maine Chance Farms Bushers Idol, R. O. J. Streubers Caesar Did and Melvin J. Robinsons Singer. Of course, such stars as Mrs. E. E. Robbins Midafternoon and Streubers Pylades are eligible, but hardly likely to run, or even be weighted. The week opens with the ,000 Jackson Heights purse that has attracted a field of six three-year-olds, including Inside Tract, who could be a really good one. Jack Wei-pert Jr.s charge will be ridden by Bill Bo-land at 120 pounds, and meets such as Assemblyman, Eternal Flame, Hicks Error, Roscoe Maney and Tenacious in this mlie and a sixteenth, which will be the sixth event. A really good race here might make Inside Tract a candidate for the rich Belmont Stakes. Mondays seventh event is the six-furlong Fox Meadow Purse, an allowance event for mature horses that has attracted such nimble runners as Gay Warrior, Porters-ville, Goulash, Come On Red, Pine Echo and New Holland, in what shapes up as a wide-open scramble.
