Wade at Hazel Park HAZEL PARK, Mich.. May 11.— Racing secretary and director of racing Horace Wade has reached Hazel Park and will be on hand through the meeting which opens May 24 and continues to August 3. Wade toured Kentucky and Illinois while en route to the Michigan course and reported that he expects the best racing in the history of Hazel Park. Many newcomers will enliven the sport at the popular five-eighths course, with prominent returnees including M. H. VanBerg. Vester R. "Ten-! nessee" Wright, C. F. Bowles, Charles Kerr, J. B. Floyd, N. J. Hernandez, William Za-koor and many others whose colors have been prominent in Michigan racing for many years.
