LORD LOUIS" hustled to gain a forward position early, was steadied for six furlongs, moved into command as the leader faltered, gave way, remaining close up, regained the lead when roused, drew out and prevailed under intermittent urging. ARMONK worked his way up oh the outside to assume command before six furlongs, but was not good enough. APRIL FOOL rallied mildly when put to pressure. HERES WHY closed ground steadily. WAY HOME, devoid of early speed, was sent between horses in the final quarter mile, but lacked a rally. AGI-GEMNA showed nothing. BELLEVUE JOE went evenly. LADY BENT, slow to settle into stride, saved ground to better the late position. TEAKWOOD rushed boldly on the outside, appeared to brush horses on the outside, went wide on the final turn and lacked a closing rally. GATICA BONITA weakened after forcing the early pace.
