Interest in ThistleDown Meet TfflSTLEDOWN, Warrensville, Ohio, Aug. 21. Racing secretary Fred Burton of ThistleDown reports that he has received word from William Taylor that horsemen in New England are showing much interest in the coming meeting at the rebuilt Cleveland track. Taylor, who served as a member of Burtons staff at the recent Cranford meeting, is currently working at Scarborough and has toured the other New England tracks in the interests of ThistleDown. The response from Down East had been most gratifying, according to general manager Louis Pondfield.
