Won driving; second and third the same. .LOVELY LOCUST moved along from the outside and, while being strongly handled, outgamed both APACHE LADY and BLUEMISSION in the late stretch. The latter gained a short lead racing into the far turn and held oh well through the stretch. APACHE LADY raced in the first flight before giving way inside the furlong marker. GRAY FOG broke a trifle tardily and made up ground in the latter stages. AIR QUEEN faltered after looming dangerous on the stretch turn. FIRST MISSION was never a factor. REGAL GLAD showed nothing. PIPC0N raced in a favorable position from the beginning while saving ground, moved around TOP CHOICE and CHADACE through the stretch and under a strong ride was drawing clear. TOP CHOICE opened a clear lead on the backstretch, was between horses through the stretch and just managed to hold CHADACE for the place. The latter moved up on the inside looming the most dangerous and then hung. LITTLE DISH weakened. DIGIT turned in a poor effort. JACOS BOY showed nothing.
