j r Native Dancer to Pass Up Saratoga Cup Friday Vanderbilt Champion Most Likely Will Start in Sysonby Sept. 26 SARATOGA, Saratoga Springs, N. Y., Aug. 24. Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilts Native Dancer returned to Saratoga Monday morning following an uneventful journey from Washington Park near Chicago where he added to his three-year-old laurels with a convincing victory in the rich American Derby on Saturday. The Dancer, who is eligible for the Saratoga Cup to be decided here Friday, will not be a starter in the mile and six furlongs essay according to word received from his trainer Bill Winfrey. The son of Polynesian most likely will be seen under colors in the Sysonby at Belmont Park. The eight-furlong event will be decided September 2Q.
